Great way to find out about Preemies, their families and the journey to your classroom!

Master your role in play with your children!

STEM is the least taught in Early Childhood Programs! This a resource that can help strive to do better.

  1. understanding the need for free pre-k is what is making Florida a leader in early education right now. In NC, we have the understanding, but haven't gotten to the application of that knowledge for EVERY child. Our Pre-K program (NC Pre-K) is focused on children who haven't had any exposure to early education, have special needs, or ESL. These children DEFINITELY need the program, but there are some children whose parents may make too much to be eligible or they simply don't get put high enough on the list to ever make it into the program. There is a huge waitlist in our county for spaces and not enough high quality centers with licensed Pre-K teachers to provide what they need ....and we are considered one of the better states for free Pre-K. I often envy my FL counterparts for their ability to provide the extra education those children need. (my company owns quite a few centers in Florida).

  3. Wow Jaqualine, I love your list of resources. I have always particularly liked Erikson's stages of development and seeing it in video form is rather interesting. I now have a son and enjoy observing some of these challenges become a reality.

  5. Jackie,

I reviewed your web link articles. Very interesting and somewhat frustrating information about our young children living in poverty. Shows how important it is for us to be educating not only these little ones, but their parents and the public as well.
